Communications & Consent Policy
Effective date: June 22, 2026
The short version. When you give us your email or phone number on ShopHealthcare, we use it to help you shop for and enroll in health coverage and to send you related updates. You can stop our marketing emails any time by clicking unsubscribe, and you can tell us to stop calling at any time. We do not send text messages today; if we add texting later, we will ask for your written permission first, and saying yes will never be required to buy coverage. We never sell your information.
1. Who this policy is from
ShopHealthcare is a brand operated by Core Value Insurance Associates, LLC, a licensed, independent, off-exchange health insurance brokerage (National Producer Number 19482230). We are not an insurance carrier, we are not the ACA Health Insurance Marketplace or HealthCare.gov, and we are not a government agency. Our mailing address is 1 Century Lane, Miami Beach, FL 33139.
This Communications & Consent Policy explains how we contact you, what permission we rely on, and how you can change or stop those communications. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Health Data Practices, and Terms of Use. For details on the states where we are licensed, see our Licensing page.
2. How we get your contact information
We collect your contact details directly from you when you use ShopHealthcare — for example, when you enter your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or state, date of birth, household information, or basic eligibility answers, or when you chat with our AI enrollment assistant, Nora. Nora helps you find coverage but is not a licensed agent and does not bind coverage; all enrollments are completed by a licensed human agent at Core Value Insurance Associates, LLC.
We use this information to respond to you, prepare quotes, help you compare and enroll in coverage, service your request, and send you communications as described below. To learn what we collect and how it is handled overall, read our Privacy Policy.
3. Email communications
We send email today, and our email program is operated with the help of our email service provider, Klaviyo. We comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act for our commercial email.
3.1 What we send
- Transactional and service emails — things you ask for or that relate to your request, such as quote summaries, links to resume an application, enrollment confirmations, and answers to questions you raised. These are sent to make your request work and are not promotional.
- Marketing emails — coverage options, reminders to finish shopping, educational content about health coverage, and occasional offers from ShopHealthcare. We send these when you have signed up, requested information, or otherwise have a relationship with us, consistent with CAN-SPAM.
3.2 Our CAN-SPAM commitments
- We use accurate "From," "To," and routing information so you can tell the message is from ShopHealthcare / Core Value Insurance Associates, LLC.
- We use subject lines that honestly reflect the content of the message — no deceptive or misleading subjects.
- We identify marketing messages as advertising where required.
- Every marketing email includes our valid physical postal address: 1 Century Lane, Miami Beach, FL 33139.
- Every marketing email includes a clear and easy way to opt out.
3.3 How to unsubscribe from email
Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or email us at support@shophealthcare.com with the word "Unsubscribe." We will honor your request promptly and, in any case, within 10 business days, as CAN-SPAM requires. After you opt out of marketing, we may still send you transactional or service emails that relate to a request you have in progress or to coverage you are enrolling in or already hold.
4. Phone communications
If you give us your phone number — by entering it on the site, by chatting with Nora, or otherwise — a licensed agent or representative of Core Value Insurance Associates, LLC may call you to help you shop for, understand, or enroll in coverage, to follow up on a quote or application, or to service your request. You can also reach us directly at (646) 842-5895.
4.1 What to expect
- Calls are to assist with the coverage request you started, including answering questions, completing enrollment with a licensed human agent, and providing follow-up or servicing.
- We do not use prerecorded or artificial-voice telemarketing calls, and we do not use an autodialer to place marketing calls to your number, unless we have first obtained any consent the law requires for that specific type of call.
4.2 Your right to stop calls (Do-Not-Call / opt-out)
You can ask us to stop calling at any time. Tell the representative on the call, call us at (646) 842-5895, or email support@shophealthcare.com. We maintain an internal Do-Not-Call list and will record and honor your request. We also honor applicable federal and state Do-Not-Call rules. Once you opt out of marketing calls, we may still contact you about an application or enrollment that is already in progress when reasonably necessary to service it.
5. Text messages / SMS (not active yet)
ShopHealthcare does not currently send text messages. We are describing our text-message terms here in advance so they are ready if and when we turn SMS on. We will not text you until you have given the express written consent described below at the point where we ask for it, and we will update this policy with the launch date when that happens.
5.1 The disclosure we will show at the point of consent
When SMS launches, we will present the following disclosure where you provide your number (for example, in Nora's chat or on a form), with an unchecked box or an equivalent affirmative action:
By providing your mobile number and checking this box, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and account text messages (such as quote follow-ups, application reminders, and offers) from ShopHealthcare / Core Value Insurance Associates, LLC at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any coverage or service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy and this Communications & Consent Policy.
5.2 Ready-to-use consent line for the capture point
The following labeled block is the drop-in copy for the checkbox at the point of capture when SMS goes live. It should appear with a separate, unchecked opt-in control that is not pre-selected and is not bundled with any other agreement:
| Element | Copy to use |
|---|---|
| Checkbox label (must be opt-in, unchecked by default) | "Yes, text me. I agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from ShopHealthcare at the mobile number I provided." |
| Fine print shown next to the checkbox | "Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy and Communications & Consent Policy." |
5.3 How texting will work once active
- STOP — reply STOP (or END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL) to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and then stop.
- HELP — reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@shophealthcare.com or (646) 842-5895.
- Frequency — message frequency varies based on your activity and stage in the process.
- Rates — message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Carriers — wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Until we publicly launch SMS and you opt in, you will not receive marketing or informational text messages from us.
6. Consent is never a condition of buying coverage
You do not have to agree to receive marketing emails, calls, or (once available) texts in order to get a quote, compare plans, or enroll in coverage through us. Opting in to marketing communications is always optional and separate from your purchase.
7. Who helps us communicate, and our "no sale" commitment
We use trusted service providers to deliver communications and run our site, including Klaviyo (email), Quotit (quoting and eligibility), Google (Tag Manager and Analytics), and Meta (advertising, including its Conversions API), and we share enrollment information with the relevant insurance carrier when you enroll. These providers handle information only to perform services for us. We never sell your data. For the complete picture of how your information is used, shared, and protected — including advertising and analytics technologies and your privacy choices — see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
8. Keeping your information accurate
Please keep your contact details current so our communications reach the right place and so we do not contact a number or address that no longer belongs to you. You can update or correct your information by contacting us using the details below.
9. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, where Core Value Insurance Associates, LLC is headquartered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable federal law including the CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Certain state telemarketing, Do-Not-Call, and text-messaging laws may also apply based on where you are located.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Communications & Consent Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Effective date" above and, for material changes (such as the launch of SMS), we will take reasonable steps to notify you. The version posted here is the current version.
